Summit Grove Associates broke ground on Phase I (1500 Klondike Road) on June 23, 1988. Joining them were Ed Burkhalter from Design Associates, the architect; Trust Company Bank of Rockdale County representatives, who financed the Summit Grove project; Rockdale County Chamber of Commerce representatives; Conyers city officials, and Rockdale County officials.
Years of Growth...
After the completion of Phase I, Summit Grove Associates planned additional phases on other portions of their land, never losing sight of their belief that controlled growth, careful planning of the buildings and grounds, and the continued effort to serve their clients were best. Phase II (1498 Klondike Road) was completed in 1994. Phase III (1506 Klondike Road) was completed in 1999. Phase IV (1510 Klondike Road) is now complete (October, 2003). 1496 Klondike Road is an out-parcel leased by the Sylvan Learning Center.
